Valley Economic Development Center (VEDC)
VEDC has consistently provided services to small and medium sized business owners, entrepreneurs and members of the communities it serves. They have grown to become the largest non-profit business development corporation in the metropolitan Los Angeles area. VEDC operates and facilitates several loan and business counseling programs.

Women’s Business Center
The Women’s Business Center (WBC) is a Small Business Administration program operated by VEDC (Valley Economic Development Center) to promote the creation and growth of businesses by women and minority entrepreneurs in the greater Los Angeles area. The WBC assists clients with consulting, training and access to business capital. Our doors are open to ALL entrepreneurs regardless of gender, race, or any affiliation.

Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC)
The LAEDC’s mission is to attract, retain and grow business and jobs in the regions of Los Angeles County, as well as to identify trends and affect positive change for the local economy. LAEDC’s research division covers a six county area: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties. Employment Training Panel
ETP is a cooperative business-labor program designed to retrain workers. Companies facing out-of-state or international competition who need to retrain current employees, and companies seeking to hire new workers or train eligible new-hires may apply for ETP training funds. If your firm is planning to retrain current employees, requisite is that you be conducting the training to prevent lay-offs, transforming your company into a high-performance workplace or diversifying your products or services.

Franchise Tax Board
The California Franchise Tax Board provides guidance on business tax structures, filing requirements, tax forms, payment guidelines and information on starting, running and closing a business.
California State Board of Equalization (BOE)
The Board of Equalization was initially charged with responsibility for ensuring that county property tax assessment practices were equal and uniform throughout the state. Currently the tax programs administered by the Board are concentrated in four general areas: sales and use taxes, property taxes, special taxes and the tax appellate program.
